Yes, they are just short of a DOT race tire, very soft, very very good on dry pavement.

The problem here is it is more of a race tire, kinda designed to just sneak in so people can use it in certain catagories in SCCA without moving out of the class. For a street tire many people have gotten them lately. All I can say is they are a great tire, will not last long, not a good all around performer, but if you live in dry climate these tires are cheap and a good option.

Here is a thread on my board from a guy who knows his shit who just installed them

You can ask him if you want how he likes them

I have them and they rock. I purposely got them for autocrossing, but for everyday use they work great too. Didn't have any problems in the rain, and stick like glue in the dry.

Be prepared for pebbles and rocks to be kicked up since they are sticky.

Only tires I've used from worse to best:

Michelin XGT (stock on my Civic)
Toyo Proxes (205/40x17)
Toyo FZ4 (205/40x17)
Yokohama A520s (215/40x16 and 205/40x17)
Kumho 712 (215/40x16)
Falken Azenis (215/45x16) - too large and rubbed all the time
Falken Azenis (205/50x15) - PERFECT! :)
