4.1 and a turbo

what is available here could someone give me some help.

I have an 85 4.1 buick engine and was considering the idea of swapping some parts onto it and making it a turbo.

is it possible
will the parts fit from a 3.8 turbo?

if not what's different between the engines.

i've read of people using a 4.1 engine in place of the 3.8 in Turbo cars. 86 and 87 just need a hole drilled and tapped for the turbo drain. not sure where the oil drains in the 84 and 85's (turbo on top of motor)
get the right parts and i guess you could turbo it. Do you already have all the electronics for a turbo motor? theres lots of sensors involved if you want to do it like a stock turbo.

the 4.1 litre blocks also have the turbo crank in them as well.
where you would drain your oil would depend on if you were using an 86-87 setup or an older hot air setup

I am looking at an older hot air set up
the reason I posted here is the turbo is available to me on the cheap
the whole engine is. but it needs rebuilding
the turbo is good but the crank is burnt in need of turning. and the rest of it needs rebuilding as well.
what all would I need from this engine to get the turbo onto mine.

here is my thinking
tell me if I am wrong
intake manifold and injection with wiring harness
plumbing to turbo from exaust
plumbing to exaust from turbo
possibly the catylitic converter as well
all the enigne sensors
knock sensor
and the computer
and the wiring harness from the engine to the computer.

what other sensors am I missing
is there anything else i am missing?
all this is an engine swap project.
the 4.1 runs like a scalded dog already
but with the turbo it would eat scalded dog for breakfast.

I'm not looking for 10.5's at the track or higher than stock boost levels
just better highway performance, and around town performance.
I know it seems like a lot. but I've owned the vehicle for 19 years it's my baby. and I would like to make it a little bit stronger than what it is now.

I really just need to know what all from the donor car I will need.
I have access to an engine from a totalled gn 84 model.

If I have a 4.1 what parts and what mods will I need to do to the 4.1 to make it a turbo 4.1. what will I need from the 3.8 and what will I need from the donor car as far as wiring and exaust system is concerned.
