I plan on buying a 60mm TB. Was wondering what i should do about my intake manifold? Would it be better to Port and Polish it to match the TB or just buy a newer one?

Of course it would be best to get an aftermarket intake, it's just that everyone doesn't have a spare $600.

Search or head prting, lots of dcent articles online. Apply the same fundamental theories to the manifold. Its aliminum, so use non-ferrous carbide burs in your die grinder.

60MM TB? Unless I'm mistaken, the 1G TB's are 60MM which are bigger than the TB & intakes on the 2G 4G63's so you could just go for the 1G TB and intake manifold swap if you're looking for a fairly easier solution. I don't believe there is a problem using a 1G intake on a 420A head. I would have your head's intake ports ported out as well.
