major differences in 323,325,328,??

What are the major differences in the 323,325,328? They all look the same. Other than the 325 and 325 having a 2.5 and the 328 having a 2.8 engine, I see little difference. Please help me clarify things.

Agreed. I have had trouble finding the differences between these models, as well. I have looked most places and have yet to find a decent FAQ or knowledge source that spells this out. I would especially like to know as I am looking at purchasing one of these models, 99-01; coupe preferably. Thanks!

FYI, I went to the dealer yesterday and asked this question. He said that it was all the engine. 318 was a1.8 4 cyl, 323 was 2.3 litr, 325 were 2.5 litr and 328 was 2.8 and the newest 330 is a 3 liter. they are no longer making 323 or 318.
