Cingular Sucks!!!!!

Plan with no roaming. Every month, roaming charges.

Plan with no internet. Every month, internet charges.

I've called these fucking people every month for the last year and had their incorrect charges removed. I've spent over 9 HOURS of my personal time doing this. I've changed phones and upgraded to phones on the new system. No improvement. I've written letters to customer service people and the president of the company and still the shit continues! THEN you get a call and they say they're in the office of the president, but they're in the SAME DAMN call center you've been calling for the last year!!!!!! Fucking liars.

WTF do you have to do to pay your charge, use your phone and have it billed correctly?

And the mfers have the nerve to tell me that the charges were in fact charged correctly, after each and every fucking one of their people told me that the calls were from inside the area where no roaming charges were supposed to be charged anyway; now they call ME a liar about all the charges. FUCK THEM>

I agree, they do suck. Me and my husband has had the same problems with this company. We finaly told them to stick that phone up their ass. That was a year ago. We have gotten no more bills. But, the phone still works. We use it all the time. Free phone, free plan, What else can I say

Hey, I wouldn't mind THAT plan! Did you tell a normal customer service person, or some bigwig? I wanted to tell them to stick it, but they kept threatening to charge a $175 disconnect fee.

:cwm27:The rest of the family switched to cingular last year and they hate it. I stayed with sprint and haven't been happier. You would thing that they would get their act together after complaining so many times.

Tell your family to check their bill....thoroughly....every month. And to be prepared to be put on hold for at least 10 minutes each time they call in.

To be honest with you, I am not for shure. My husband called the number that was on the bill, bitched them out, told them that we were not gonna pay the bull shit charges, and that we were through with their sorry asses and he hung up the phone. We have not gotten a bill since, and the phone still works. We have had problems with them for 4 months before he blew up. I dont know, mabye they got the hint could not tell ya!!!

It's been going on for nearly a year for us and I've been pretty calm to this point. Next time I talk to the bastids I'll start yelling right away.

That is pretty much what he did. He gave them our # , told them the problem, then he started yelling at them....

It has always worked (with a couple exceptions of course) everywhere we've gone, but they can't get the billing right and I agree with you, all cell co's suck to some extent!

I mean all I'd like to do is pay my x9.99 a month plus taxes and make a few calls. That's it.

I havent had one bill that was accurate with my usage. When I notified them about this they responded, "There are alot of cell phone hackers out there."

Exactly why I use Verizon and seriously doubt I will ever change. My friends all have AT&T, Cingular, Sprint, T-Mobile, Nextel and they all bitch. Who has service when they don't, I do. I always laughed my ass off when my friends ask to use my phone b/c were in the mall or on a small two lane road and they can't get service, but I can. After my roomate had cingular, then sprint, then nextel. Each time he bitched about fees and service and each time i said get Verizon and you wont bitch. Sure enough he finally got out of Nextel and went to Verizon and now he says he couldn't be happier.

I have ATT which is not cingular, but I'm pretty satisfied. Call quality is good, except my phone is starting to give out after being dropped a half a dozen times. Can't complain, I haven't seen a single one of my bills, employer takes care of them.

i have t-mobile and i have service everywhere. All my friends have other carriers and dont get service in my basement, i do. They all have to go upstairs to make calls or talk to people.....suckers

My sister has Cingular/AT&T and today she got a bill. $50 some dollars for regular charges, $100 for roaming. She called them up, and they simply dropped the roaming. That's not too bad.

I have ATT which is not cingular, but I'm pretty satisfied. Call quality is good, except my phone is starting to give out after being dropped a half a dozen times. Can't complain, I haven't seen a single one of my bills, employer takes care of them.

Man...I've had Nextel for like the last year or so and I couldn't be happier. Always have service and you gotta love the 2-way. Plus they've never messed up our bill.

Cingular is bullcrap. That's put plain and simple. Truth. my anti-cingular!

i have cingular and am very happy with it! i use to have t-mobile, and that was good too, but cingular has better coverage ever since they teamed up with ATT

Well, you're definitely in the minority. Check your bill, you likely have roaming charges that shouldn't be on there.

It is now. Had nothing but problems with AT&T, and haven't seen any improvement under Cingular.

Hey what team is your cell phone? Sprintel all the way! We're hoping for a great season. Virgizon Mobile looks to be tough competition though, I hear they are trading for a draft pick. Theres a promising new phone company that has signed letters of intent of joining them. Even yahoo has cell phones now. If they join Cingular, it would be cingulahoo. Thank god for my ESP. I just hope they don't try to ban ESP while you're driving.

In the case of Nextel and Sprint, it's not a merge, it's a buy out

I'll be changing from Cingular to Verizon soon as 2 year contract is up. Cingular has sporadic coverage in the places we use it. Phone had the quality of a 1945 era walkie-talkie too. In my house I can't get a signal if I did need to use it. Everyone I know has Verizon and people have called me on their cells from across country and I didn't believe they were not on a land line.

My wife calls home from 2 miles away and it sounds like she's on friggin Mars.
