I locked my keyless entry in the car. HELP

When I went to go to work this morning, I couldn't get the drivers side door to close, so I took the keyless entry thing off so that I could look at the door without risking locking myself out (and so I oculd leave the car running as it was cold). I finally got it to shut only to drive to work, forget I had taken off the keyless entry, and lock it in the car. Now my make will not allow you to open the door with the key, you must use the little keyless entry. (On a more amusing side note, my fiance lost his keys with my second keyless entry this weekend). If I dosconnect the battery will I be able to unlock the door with my key? The dealership mentioned something like that. Thanks

How do you plan to get the hood open if the car is locked?

Do you have folding rear seats???

If so, just pop the trunk and crawl in through the rear seats.... Not that I'm speaking from expierience or anything:nono:

What's your year, Make, & model.... I've never heard of a car that wouldn't let you use the key.

My 03 will let you in with the key, just the alarm goes off until you hit the button on the remote.

Curious to see what you've got.

A key is a key is a key: if your door has a lock (and I've never seen a Taurus that doesn't), then the key will open the door.
