hey, it may be fast if you like going from 0 to sixty in just over 9 seconds?? If i can find the 1/4 mile time I will post that also. and by the way I am not making fun of people with these cars, my family has one and i was just sharing some info

AHH HA i found the website http://www.allpar.com/cars/lx/magnum-dodge.html

0-60 = 9.1
0-100 = 25
1/4 mile = 16.94@84.38

after seeing all that, i have to say that the HEMI is a must

What do you want for a car with a blunt nose that weighs very close to 2 tons and has 250 HP / 250 FtLbs powering it? Not dissing the car, they're kind of cool looking, but the facts still dictate that unless it has a hemi under the hood the motivation is not going to be that great. Some people don't want to do high 13's or low 14's in their cars, they just want to cruise instead.

well from what I understand the website that tested the car had slow times...I have heard around 7.8 sec and crap like that. hell i dont care how fast it is, its my moms car. Its just fun to drive in and have people look at you.

I wonder if they were using the auto stick to hold the trany in first or not, when you do the acceleration is almost a neck snapper. That said had the RT not doubled the price of my insurance I would have bought it instead. Deffanatly peppier with the 340hp option, tho at low speeds there isn't all that much difference as the RT sports taller diff gears. In the end it's a good looking car that hauls my stuff and easily beats the all-show-no-go ricers that are all to comon around here (but then again my 92 wrangler did that, despite the lift)
