Im having great difficulty tracking down these models. I dont own a credit card, so buying overseas is pretty difficult. If anyone knows where i can find thes models in australia it would be greatly appreciated.

Hasegawa- ferrari 328gts
Tamiya - mazda 787b
Tamiya- Mazda savanna rx7, series 2 (1982) model.

Thanks in advance

Good luck on the 787B, it's been out of production for years, Tamiya should re-release it soon though.

The 787B has been reissued (with cartograf decals) and is available at the usual online shops.

Didn't realise it was already available, that's good news :iceslolan

Which city you in? Not having a credit card makes it difficult to order interstate as well. Check the Yellow Pages for model shops in your area, ring them up and ask what they've got or know.
Best bet would be to get a credit card/PayPal account and order from a Japanese online store or look for the rare stuff on eBay.

im in sydney, ive left my details at hobbyco and mini sherrifs cars, but dont know any other places i can look apart from overseas....ebay is just luck if it pops up...ive emailed a few hobby shops online, but yeah i mihgt just hunt through the phone book and try my luck...i bought the rx7 about 5 yrs ago, but i have a real one so i want to buy another couple to make a replica of my car, the old one is just too dusty to put on display....however ive stripped the paint off with metho....good idea or not??? the paint is all gone, and the plastic feels smooth....but i want more plus the other models......wish me luck

ok i have now found the ferrari model!!.....last one to get is Tamiya Rx7 24016.

Ive been going nuts, ringing everywhere for all the models, i really thought the ferrari one would be inmpossible to get from what everyoine was saying....im stoked that i found it...got about 10 models now i plan to make this yr, well start them anyway...I dont want to start until i can find a decent cabinet to put them in.

Looks like ebay will be a bit of a slut for me till i find the rx7 model

You can save a search in your favorites on ebay and set it to email you when new matches are listed. if you do this remember to search for Tamiya kit numbers 24016 AND 2416 . Old kits used 4-digits until tamiya ralized they'd be making more than a hundred, so they added the zero on any re-releases.

The Tamiya kit is the only one of the FB version of that generation. All the rest are of the SA early type.

Im particularly after the Tamiya one as i actually own a 1982 model rx7, just want to make a replica of it, plus you cant beat the detail tamiya has over the other brands as most of you guys will know. I already have the sa type model (trying to get the whole rotary collection). once i can afford and find an r100, rx2, rx4 (they do exist somewhere) ill have all the ones im after, i have managed to find the cosmo, rx3 coupes, rx5/cosmo, s1 rx7, s4 rx7, s6 rx7, 787b. As you can see im a rotary fanatic!! lol They are going to be displayed around a rotor, still working on how im gonna display them properly.

The biggest selling point of the Tamiya FB is that it's the only FB kit.

Therefore, the best FB would be a Tamiya shell on the Monogram chassis/engine.

But I actually used the electric motor in my FB. Neat consolation gimmick, IMO. :D

As a rotary fan, you probably already know about Eric's (erix7) RX-7 model page... ;)

I never did put side mirrors on it. The kit parts sucked HARD.

NICE MODEL>...very very jealous!!. yeah the mirrors do suck a bit in the kit, with my kit, i ended up plugging up the hold on the quarter panels, and moving the mirrors back on the door where most rx7's are, just didnt look right on the quarter panel

Ill definitely post pictures up when finished, but please be prepared to WAIT! its going to take 5 yrs to finsh them all!!!!
