adware/spyware

why is it that this site causes adware to be put on my computer? they have no reason for it and i was woundern if anybody out there new why???

Are you sure that it's not some other site? Use Microsoft antispyware with the realtime protection activated, and that should offed adequate protection.

I've never had a problem from this site. I run 3 programs right now, each one finds ones that the others don't: ad aware SE, Spy Bot S&D, and Microsoft anti spyware. But I've never seen anything from this site.

i use adaware se and spb&d also, i clean up with ace utilities, i came to this site, signed off and when i checked my e mail i had a popup, its either here or collegehumor that is doing it, and last time one sliped in ch they had a huge apology written up and posted

Oh, I get them from CH almost everytime I go to that site. When their site loads up, I see a quick flash on my screen and see a new window pop up in my taskbar below. So I'm willing to bet it's from there and not here.

Spyware will always be around, it could be from the ads that this web site has, but not necessarily from AF itself.

As far as removal is concerned it looks like you have it taken care of. But adware is now a permanent part of the internet and there is no way around it, sorry mate :(
