this story isnt realy about my car but more about just one of a few cars my dad has...and well yes its a ford.
setting: late summer, stop light, 2 lane road seperated by a gaurdrail barier with another set of lights a lil more than a 1/4 mile up.

plot: so since noone knows the place where im talking about ill talk about this from when we pulled onto a major route with a stop light set on a straight away. there is mild traffic, and were in a EXTREMELY built mustang my dad had bought recently not more than 6 months b4. the mustang is a 69 fastback gt btw. with 2 cars behind us and a street bike beside us and 3 cars behind him. the street bike is black some sort of 600 cc all rigged up with loud exhasut all that. we roll up to a stop light that had just turned. the street bike revs his engine. its loud yes. well my dad looks over hes 50 at the time hes now 51. so it was last year. he puts his auto in nuetral brings her up to about 6 grand and lets off. street bike guy knows its on. my dad shifts down into first. light hits green stang screams off the line hardly breaking traction. street bike is about a car off our fender we hit second car starts burning tire, but regains traction, street bike gets off our fender a bit, his motor is screaming as u can hear his loud ass exhaust. we hit 3rd and run outa gears at about 120 and he flies by. he pulls into plaza parking lot and he says to us goddam thats a fast mustang, course we know. some backround on the stang....

dart 72cc race heads, crane cams cam, race carb, headers, roller rockers, bored .30 over, keith black pistons, major head work, ignition work, shaker intake, race tranny, 3.73 with posi, triple valve springs, balanced crank. the car was taken to the track by the previous owner, and she ran low 12's on street tires with nothing taken out. on slicks she should be into mid 11's. she can break loose on the highway at 60 without a hitch. and that is the goal for my camaro.

I have to admit, I'm not a big fan of GM's. But I have to say that I love what you've done with your Camaro and really like where you're going with it. Good luck :bigthumb:

I have a question about the 350 in your 'maro: Is it a crate motor? If it is, which one is it?

the 350 in my camaro is a 91 350 Caprice Police Interceptor motor stock with roller cam and lifters and vortec heads, its a remaned motor. i had a caprice, got the new engine, blew the tranny cuz of too much traction so i got a camaro just incase u thought it was odd i had a police motor. the caprice is the reason
