Engine performance HELP!

I have an Civic EG6 VTi ( comes with the B16A from factory) , the car has some light mods, the car was running very strong, i was beating every other Vti in my city .

But now for some reason the car is not that strong , what happens is, it pulls strong first gear , second it looses a bit , third is taking a long time , and fourth is almost a dead stop, it just won`t go !!!

What i need is some ideas of what could be happening, i`m going to take the head off to check the pistons!!

PLEASE ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APRECIATED !!

Check your spark plugs, bad spark plugs can sap ur power. Also check your fuel filter, and add a bottle of fuel system treatment to ur gas tank. Dont' go checkin' ur pistons until you check some simpler things that might sap your power. Hope this helps

Try changing your spark plugs and wires. that will usually free up the lost horses. also add some fuel injector cleaner to a tank of high (93) octane. You should always run high octane because its cleaner and it won't clog up those injectors like the lower grades will.

After checking the plugs and wires, check the o2 sensor(s?). I know my Nissan is a lot different than your Honda, but a bad o2 sensor made me run rich, which robbed some power and killed my gas mileage.
