i have a b16a turbo with msd ignition.

Is it just backpressure?
Or maybe your running too lean.
Have you noticed this any other time other than when you have a full load on your car?

my bad, too rich.
I don't know what I was thinking.
I used to have this problem on my old lude, and I was running SUPER rich. But I wasn't even boosting.

Check for an exhaust leak in the turbo manifold and exhaust system.

It's a common cause of backfires.
