I have a 91 Eclipse GSX its had a problem before with just shutting off when i'm going slow or idling, i thought it was just that the fuel pump harness was loose, i had taped it up with some electrical tap and it worked fine, but recently i was driving and i when i was accelerating i could hear a slight whining or a hissing sound, i just thought maybe i just never payed much attention to it, when i slowed down to park it was starting to hesitate slightly, i had to keep reving it up so it wouldnt try to shut down, when i parked i let it idle for a little bit to see if i could figure out what was wrong, it never shut off but would start bogging out when idling and then come back up to about 1300rpm and then start to bog out again, i could hear hissing coming from the engine compartment but i wasnt able to determine where it was coming from. My car has no catalytic converter, 3" downpipe and 3" exhaust, Air fuel controller, greddy boost controller set at 15 psi, greddy turbo timer, k &n intake filter (the air box isnt sealed properly some of the clips are missing), 255lph fuel pump and 680cc injectors, it was dyno tuned by a reputable shop....anyone have any idea what this might be, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

fuel pump harness

Do you mean you taped it to the tank? There should be bolts. And the whinig sounds like youve got a vaccuum leak.

Venting your blow off valve? Have you checked for boost leaks?

the harness, not to the tank, just the two connectors that go into the tank, i also just discovered that the screw on top of the throttle body is missing, so i believe that this has something to do with it, but i'm not sure, it wont even start at all now, any ideas?

the same thing happened to my brothers dsm, you need to get a tb screw and it should start, just put your finger over the whole and have some one try to start it, it that does not work then i dont know, thats what we did to my brothers car and it started then we just got a screw and it works fine.

If your air metering system is stock, you should not vent your BOV

As for your throttle body screw missing, the part # @ mitsubishi is MD614948.

Meaning that if you had something like the GReddy E-Manage you would be able to vent it?
