WHat color should I paint it?!?

Hey guys. Im getting my 92 stealth TT painted for free at the vocational school im going to. Im talking auto and the body shop is right next door. I just have to pay for the paint. Right now its really nice blue but the Clear is coming off. I want a color that really stand out but is also really cool not just like hot pink. ANy suggestions?

well if I had the chance you did, I would pick as my first choice the chameleon color changing as my first, and the pearlescent purple as my 2nd. I saw the pearlescent purple on a video and it looked badass.

I'd say Onyx black but if the painter is inexperienced (who will be doing it? I hope your not gonna hand your baby over to somone who dosent have years of experience) then black isn't a good idea. If you don't like black, get a dark blood red base and some translucent candy red over it, I love that look, gives it a special fire that seems to come from within the paint, like a ruby.

Ewwwww! Nooooo! My least favorite color for these cars! Their not angles! They're devils hehe, notice that red and black are the colors I reccomend!

hell no...go with a gunmetal, charcoal silver. never seen it on a 3KGT but its an awsome color. or black...or if you like standing out, i would go with like that BMW crazy blue. that might be different, i would personally never do it but its better than neon green. :lol:

Redo it in blue. It will save alot of headache and you wont have to worry about having your door jams done and getting paint inside the car. I honestly wouldnt let a vo tech class touch my car with a ten foot pole. Thats just me though.

I Have seen many Different colors on VR4s and Stealth and i got to tell you the best i have ever seen is White Pearl, Silver, and EVO Blue.

Blue Stealths are so rare (at least in my area). You should see if they can instead reapply the clearcoat but give it a heavy, heavy gloss. Other than that, the candy red sounds good but I would have concerns about the quality of the work. You should try to keep it as close as possible to the original.

Well everyone has their own opinion...and in mine (and almost everyone I know) purple is for the queer eye...its like the gay pride color! but hey, to each his own...i've seen metallic silver on a 99 VR4 (I actually have it as my background) and it's sooo much better than any other...next best would be the white...then some dark metallic blue

But I agree on the not letting a VO tech class touch the car...maybe if it was a POS...just make sure you buy good quality paint, not the cheap stuff...the cheap stuff falls apart after a year.

Ahhh how can people like light colors? It baffles me! I get silver but thats not realy a color. What would be realy cool is a chamelion paint that shifts black to ruby red, that would be my dream paint.

mustang red is a nice color.... ive seen one thats purple and its surpizingly nice.

but overall red is a wery nice color. i personaly dont like the mmc red its to bright for my likings.... actualy i find that most of the mmc colors are a bit ugly. the yellow @ mishubishi is a no no! the perl white is ok but i like clear whit much better. i dont know how the red was when it was new but i think it was a nice color when it was newish but thats just me

yeah they do love red...like a freakin cow...just drawn to it lol...my integra was red...i was pulled over for somethin different every week...and never in any other of the 7 cars i've owned.

I'm glad the cops in my town are real chill, they've never pulled me over even when I speed like 15 miles over the limit right in front of them, i've been pulled over twice on the town lines though by other towns pigs.

Gold looks good in our cars... u guys have prob. seen this pic b4 but its really different an i like it - plus i with i had the mods it has done - serious engine work.

15 over that's a hiccup...if they're desperate then maybe they'll pull u over....but i think it's 17 and above and ur screwed...which i used to get caught doing all the time. it's been a while since i read the rules, but i think thats the break between a 6 point violation and a 3...basically when it gets reduced in court whether u pay them $200+ or $100.

Gateway..IMO that stang is hidious...thats the only chameleon paint that i dont like...purple green...looks like a fly's ass. This guy down the street from me has a brand new BMW 760 LI w/ black and blue chameleon paint, and that's hot ish.

To me purple is purple...and it's definitely homo if it's on a Cavalier!

Actually, a color CAN be gay. In columbus, ohio they have what is known as the 'lavendar pages', which is a section in the phone book that is dedicated to homosexual business men and women. Anyways, i like dark metallic green as long as the paint is in good condish. Black and candy apple red are always good too.

well its not really a purple i guess- it more of a dark cherry - purple would prob look pretty stupid - lol -

What color combinations of the real chamelion paint exsist? Black on red would be the best for the 3000GT, what a combination. Black on green would look great also.

I would say, go midnight purple, or black with blood red metallic flakes in the paint.

if I were to go chameleon paint, I'd do blue/green myself.
