They run high 14's(If your really lucky)-low 15's. top speed is around...Ahh im going to say 130 0-60 in about 7 seconds

Thats close, except the top speed should be 144 and the turbos run 6.2 0-60.

Thats when they were new. The top speed sounds correct, but I think it takes a little longer now that most have 100,000+ miles

so the na is running high 14s and the turbos..?
what if you do a jdm turbo 7m swap with under 50,xxx miles what would that run?

Um hell no. The turbo is running high 14's if you drive your best. A 15.4 second run would be normal I would say for a trubo. The gte...It doesnt matter the miles THAT much, but that car with less then 50 tousand, could prolly run 14.9 and get to 60 in about 6 and a half seconds. If a stock N/A could run 14.9 then the trubo would be a 14 second flat car.

what mods would bring it down into the 13s?...12s?other than the obvious turbo upgrade

Um...an engine swap? Its not really that...Um...Wise to make a bunch of motor mods to a mk3 supra. Unless you get a new head gasket. andstuff.....For the price , its not worth it to keep the GTE motor. Dump it for a import (If your in the usa) 2.5 liter twin turbo motor. Much faster stock, and much more potental

are you talking about the 1jz twin? i heard that finding parts for it is a pain and expensive.
can't the 7m turbos make 600+ hp?
i don't want to make that much but... thats what i heard. all i want is 350-400 reliable hp

Sure. You could make that much horse on the stock motor. The thing is, it would cost about 2500+ atleast...Not worht it to me. It is quite possable.

The 7MGTE is a really well built engine, other then the head gasket and a few other things. As far as switching to the japanese TT engine, then having to build the internals up to he same as the larger stroke american engines, just get a good Garrett turbo system for around $1,500 to $2,500 and run laps around the Japanese engines all day.

errrr... you just kicked me in the nuts with those prices. what size garrett are we talking about here and is that with or without the intercooler and blowoff valve set up?

i get what you're saying, ricesucks; but it will cost me about $2500 to just get that motor to where im at and for only a base of about 250 hp. right
