Couple of questions...Has anyone tried NGK Iridium plugs in their vehicles? I want to swap out the plugs in my Alero. Its a 2001 2.4 and the plugs are due. I know Iridiums are good plugs..I have used them on my snowmobile. It idles much better with the Iridiums and they have lasted much longer than regular plugs.

My second question is...where are the plugs located and are they easy to get at?

Thanks everyone

If you remove the bolt on the black cover that says 'twin cam' and the plugs are under there.

I don't have a black cover that says "Twin Cam". Mine says Twin Cam right on the motor. Were you talking about a 6 cylinder?

Where it says twin cam, there are bolts that you need to remove...that comes off and the plugs are under there.
