manual turbo boost controller

im thinking about getting a manual turbo boost controller..i have an automatic stock turbo supra. Do you think it'll make a difference?

What year? And, what a boost controler does it up your boost. Sure it will make the car faster, but relibalty might suck. You might want to bulid up your engine before you start boosting 2+ psi over stock boost
Ok i read its a 92, anyways. On the mk3 model supra, I dont think its a good idea to boost a stock motor and turbo that much higher unless your trying to hurt the turbo or head gasket...No wait that happens no matter what :grinno:

what if i got new head gaskets?

new head gaskets and you could set the boost at around 14 if you wanted...you could possibly damage your turbo over time however. I would suggest running around 12 PSI on new head gaskets, and get the Lexus Reimer...Reimer/Lm/AH, That thing has way to many names...

Where to get stronger head bolts? New head gasket higher boost might need stronger bolts to keep the thing together.
