Well, she sprung an oil leak, after being tight and dry for 117,000 miles. Pretty good one too. Appears to be the intake front seal, running down the front and getting on the A/C compressor and building up on the oil pan lip. I guess I'll have to finally do the intake job. Oh well.
I guess I know what I'll be doing next weekend.:iceslolan

Heh, I just did mine the last weekend of January, when we had a nice iceover. I was stuck at home anyhow, so I just went ahead and swapped the intake out. I was leaking an entire overflow tank of coolant every day out of the edge of the intake, under the TB..and I put this off for about two weeks. I'm such a slacker.

Oh, make sure you do a checklist *before* you go get parts. I ended up taking 8 trips to the store the day before I ever even took the first bolt off, just for gaskets and O-rings (and, well, a battery). At the dealer, the parts dept. just sends us a prewrapped kit, so I got pretty spoiled...

Daughters LTZ had a rear intake oil leak, i looked at it several times, each time closing the hood saying "its isnt that bad" LOL
I was lucky, her mom n law had shop fix it for her. I would have, eventually, i think, sometime. :)

going to disneyland? no seriously what are you doing? i just inherited a 94 3.1 apv and thanks to you guys learned about the TCC solenoid. the other day i was under the van (before fixing the tcc) and noticed a lot of what looked to be oil sludge on the bottom of the oil pan
the transmission oil pan, the cross members as well as the lip of the tranny oil pan.

Gotta replace the lower intake manifold gaskets. The front seal of the manifold is leaking beaucoup oil.

On the business end, or just around it in the hole?
As for the intake job, no, just time consuming.
