want to design a logo?

i posted this in the civic/crx forum. they submitted some cool things but not exactly what i was looking for. i kinda expected that, but figured i'd give that group a chance.

my husband and myself are opening a shop. we already have the business license but haven't registered with the state yet. we need to submitt our logo when we register. i would like to ask the help of this forum.

the business name is "Down To Ground"...i'll sum it up, it's basically a pimp your ride kind of shop. my husband is MECP certified, has 7 yrs experience in mobile electronics. before that he did bodywork/paint for 2 yrs. when people started showing up at our home for engine swaps, body kit installs, lowering, and other mods it became apparent we needed to get out and do our own thing.

i'm looking for a logo design that can be used from business cards to tee-shirts. some of the stuff the civic/crx group submitted was either too envolved in desgin or based on too many colors to be used on anything other than shirts.

that is about all the instruction i'll give. i'm intrested to see what the creative minds will produce when not many boundries are placed.

I'll get you some logos. By the way, you planning on offering any kind of payment? I don't mind helping out, but I charge $250+ for a good logo (my business).

i wasn't exactly looking to pay anybody....that is why i came here and didn't open the local phone book. if you would like, you could send me a banner to post up on my civic site, which had 230,000+ views in 2-3 yrs.

it's not that i don't like it. it's more i can't use it. imagine shrinking that down to business card size. or trying to turn it to 1 color to make stickers.

anywayz i decided to be a lil bit helpful and did these 2 in about 5 minutes, hope u like them:

i like the top one... the 2nd one looks a little sketchy but i like the tail light in the pick... might put a eclipse and civic SI or something on either side of the top one (like just the outlines) would look awsome!

i like the first one by BuLLDoGG...except can it say Down To Ground. my business licence has the word To in the name.

also can you try it with the fonts Jester and Lucinda to see the difference???
