question on wheel stud legnth

well i getting arp wheel studs they have 2 diff ones one is 1.85 and the other legnth is a 2.85....i can tell ones longer by the number which would do you think i should get...like what is stock legnth?...

get the longer one's. i have the skunk2 wheel studs. they are a bitch to get in, and you are gonna have to get wheel lugs that will fit.

factory length is 47mm (1.85"). there really isn't any need to go longer, unless u'r gonna use a thicker hubbed wheel or wheel spacers. besides, if u have a longer stud, u'll have to use open ended lug nuts, and have fun finding lugs for aftermarket wheels w/ an open end. not saying they rn't out there, just not too common. also, w/ all that thread sticking out, u'r bound to get grit on them, and when u remove the lug nuts and put them on and repeat a number of times, u'r gonna end up damaging the threads. not to mention get bored as hell unthreading that extra inch of threads four times a wheel. soooooo, my advice would be to stick w/ the stock length and a closed end lug nut setup to save urself the headache.
