i need gold emblems, help!!!!!!!!

Hey i got a 96 se (like you didn't know) and i already have the gold emblems BUT they are fading away,i called a couple of places including nissan dealerships and they all told me to goto a body shop.After looking for about an hour of yellowpaging they finally told me that they ( like three body shops) will charge anywhere from 250 - 500 dollars.
