steering wheel

my steering wheel on my talon is squeking like crazy sounds like the drivers side is making alot of noise, i turn it to the left and right in park and while driving a squikeng noise getting bad its sounds like the steering wheels going to fall off lol,maybe the front end some greasing?

This is a dumb question but i gotta ask if u checked ur power steering fluid levels lately? If thats not the problem then have u tried removing the plastic covering the steering wheel to see if thats what is making the noise? Also is your wheel an aftermarket racing wheel or stock.. If its stock be careful to unhook your battery and wait for 15 or more seconds so the charge releases from the airbag before messing with it or disasembling anything.

yes i did check my power steering fluids all full,plastic covering no i didnt its making a very weird noise in the steering like alot of squiking like springs and stuff when they havnt been greased you know.i havenever heard that before.

has your car been lowered with coilovers?

no it hasnt been lowered i am not into that stuff its just my wifes car lol.

get some dry silicone spray lube and spray it around the back of the wheel. inbetween the wheel and the dash/guages. if that doesnt fix it just let us know.

i dry sprayed lubes evrything like you said alot quiter but still a little noise i was wondering does the universal joints have anything to do with it when you turn the wheel or driving normal a little click or squek still remains.
