What you crossfire guys think about the x-ram intake? I'm seriouisly getting one for my 84. The only downside, or so I've heard, is that it causes a loss in torque. But I've also heard that if you get roller rockers, it will offset the loss. What are your personal experiences/opinions with this product?

Also, how hard is it to install for an amateur car buff?

sorry, i accidentally posted this here rather than the vette forum, but I suppose it would apply if I had an 84 camaro as well.

depends, are you getting a cross fire intake with the computer controlled throttle bodies or an old 60's style cross ram intake setup for twin four barrel carbs???

also, roller rockers dont change your powerband. so they wont offset the effect of a cross ram intake, but they will add a few ponys to the overall curve.
