We had a great February meeting. Many cool newly built cars showed up, and some very cool 'in-progress' builds were present.

Never...I dress the way I've dressed since I was younger. I dont need tight ass clothes that make me grouchy. Rather loose clothes that make me laid back. But hey, at least my pants arent falling off my ass like the rest of the teens around here.
One thing I forgot to mention about the meeting is. Dammit I forgot what I forgot.

Hey,
http://images8.fotki.com/v154/photos/4/431166/1822569/DSCF1754-vi.jpg
This is the Subaru Caspita Jiotto isn't it...or is it the BMW Nazca? Either way, I've never seen it built up. Thank's for those pics of those great pieces of art:-D Just gives me more and more ideas.lol
Frank X.
Also, what's with these Buggatis, if I'm not mistaken? Are they diecast? Smaller scale? Handmade? :feedback: Tell me tell me tell me!!!! lol. Everything looks great, to all your guys models in the pics.

Looking stoned at the meeting vs. being stoned now?! LOL! :evillol:
BTW, I gave Mike a hard time today when I looked at his RX-7 and asked him where the chopsticks were  . I also offered to make a scale turntable for the microwave oven in front.
Oh well, I never dared to do any major bodywork or scratchbuilding until I was a lot older than 16. And he promises there will be no stickers on the finished model whatsoever  .
Fun meeting today. We had a Cobra Colors extravaganza as well.
Frank X, the Bugattis are all 1/43 prefinished models, and the Nazca is the Revell kit, built by Eric aka Mach I 2003.

Nice pics Matt. I like the looks of that black finish on the F40.
I processed my Giallo Midas Pearl paint the day after I sent the package to you, otherwise I'd have slipped that in. Unlike the Murcielago's Giallo Orion Pearl with its golden yellow midcoat and peachy-yellow base, the Gallardo's finish has a bright yellow base and a pure alabaster white translucent pearl midcoat. It's a fascinating combination! I was surprised when I saw that. I figured the two finishes would be more similar since they seem to resemble each other so much. I'll keep it in mind for next time.

Thanks so much for sending ACME samples. They were raffled off, and are now in good hands.
A few of us ate lunch at Hooters before the meeting, and some lucky guy parked his Giallo Orion Pearl Gallardo by the front door. It was very cool looking. The pearl effect was more evident the farther you were away from the car. Up close it looked like a solid color, but far away it was sparkly and color changing.. The new formulary would explain this I'm guessing.

Geez, and with as grouchy as you still are, you'd better go get a robe and flip flops and wear them around like the Dude. Thanks for the pics, Matt. There seems to always be something cool going at ACME.

I'm not sure who manufactured the Lotus, it's not the Tamiya kit. Mayo 1981 is the builder, he said it was 1/43 but I think it's probably 1/32. Cool paint/decal scheme.

Nice models, all of them. What is the dark green car that looks like a Maserati? Is it a diecast?
Nice Nazca, Eric.

That is a Veyron creation. It's a Nazca powered Gulstrand Corvette.

Cheers for the info ZoomZoom, no matter the scale still a great build and another idea. Was thinking racing green with yellow down the nose and around the front. One of many ideas though.
