I just saw an add for a 4X4 Honda truck.... I'm not the only one who didn't know about this am I? And surely this thing can't be that rugged....

I saw it too. Reminds me too much of the passport, not sure if the engine makes enough torque to keep up with the f150, it makes somewhere between 250 and 270.

Which one, the Honda Ridgeline? I think its pretty cool vehicle. Just don't tell any of my Hyundai friends. I wouldn't want them thinking I'm switching.

It's been coming for months and Honda haven't been keeping it a secret either.

You guys been in hibernation?

Months??? didn't it debut over a year ago as a definite candidate for production?

To much school and work is my excuse, i dont watch a whole lot of T.V. or read the news much anymore. I assumed Honda would try and get in the market eventually though. You think they emphasized enough, the fact that it WAS a Honda in their commercial?

I don't think you could miss the huge H on the grill of the truck.

just a few, haha. I just assumed by the way you said it that you meant anly a couple of months.

hmmm commercial says 1/2 ton, I thought it was going to be more of a chevy colorado, ford ranger, toyota tacoma competitor, not competeing on F-150/ chevy 1500, dodge ram turf.

I agree with the decision that they made it full-size. Not everyone likes the F150 styling, the chevys are getting very old, and not everyone likes the loud rams. I think that they will sell a lot of them, just because it's a honda.

That Torque rating (250-270) sucks, (IMHO), that is in the range of my little 16 year old v6 pickup
