what is the best Engine for a crx the ZC 1.6L DOHC ENGINE ?
or the ENGINE 1.6 D16Y7 or the d16y8 ? im not doing the b16 or b18 or h22 because of money i need to know what there are a lot of mods for and what is the over all best way to go

IMO go with the DOHC ZC, there is a fairly big aftermarket for them, u just have to search for it, but there are things you can do yourself to gain performance on this motor, what i did was bore my throttle body, port and polish the head (with port matched intake manifold and header) full 2.5 inch exhaust (custom from header back) and an intake, the car gets up and goes pretty nicely with a full system, full tank of gas, full interior and 2 people in it :) and this is in a hatchback, so i imagine in a CRX it would get up and go alot better
