fuel pressure low not fpr

1996 k 2500 350 4x4 standard tranny
the truck bucks awful somtimes it dies but bucks most of all, replaced the fuel pump and wiring harness in tank did not fix bought a pressure tester turn key on 59 psi start truck 51 psi closed of return fuel line jumped to 80 psi hey regulator so i replaced fun 3 hour job under upper intake. got done turn key 59 psi start 51 psi no leeks in lines at that pressure it seems they would be easy to spot. when you turn key off the pressure drops quickley about 1 psi every second. has to be a leak but where
new fuel filter, cap roter wires plugs pump relay tps, no codes
ps the pressure did drop before regulator but it is alot faster after

its the check valve in the fuel pump, you can live with it though.....

i will check on that , but i cant drive the truck at all it runs good at idle but put it in gear and it bucks awfull

If the pressure is bleeding off, check your injectors! I bet they are bleeding off!

In 96 they had some problems with the fuel pulse dampeners(pulsator) cracking and leaking pressure, its something else to check if you have to drop the tank(I removed the bed on my 96 to replace the pump)

NEVER say that it isn't a part! You are angering the Murphy's Law God!
How many times have we put a new part on and it was bad? Ignoring the signs just because you put on a new part is the best way to waste time money and patience.

How many times have we put a new part on and it was bad? Ignoring the signs just because you put on a new part is the best way to waste time money and patience.

ISNT THAT THE TRUTH WELL I FINNALY GOT IT, I THINK I , GOT A CODE TODAY SO OFF TO AUTO ZONE TO BUY A CODE READER CODE 1351 IGNITION CONTROL HIGH VOLTAGE. REPLACED COIL, RAN GREAT DROVE ABOUT 20 MILES NO PROBLEM. FUEL PRESSURE WAS OK AFTER ALL THE BOOK SAID 60 - 66 PSI I OVERLOOKED WITH KEY ON NOT RUNNING SO MY 52 FELL INTO THE OK AT RUN WITH 60 AT KEY ON.
