has anyone built this model? I was looking at it and i cant figure a few things out...

where is the back portion (where the back of the cab attaches to the bed? Is this open back here or what?

How does the Frame attach to the interior tub? Theres no holes to line it up right...

why in the heck does it have molded in exhaust pipes when the headers protrude through the hood?

It indeed is a little funny kit. I have built two. Another donored all its drivetrain to another project.
And to answer your question. That back portion doesn't exist. Cant figure why. :screwy: Also same thing to the frame fitment.

I take it this kit is supoed to be a puller truck. Used in mudding..uh...racing? lol so it is sort of stripped. The exahust out og the hood....not a fan of this either. Sure there's a good reason though.
The kit is modified form an older blazer kit. Check ebay for them and you'll find the rear cap.
It mounts on the frame just fine to me. Good luck with this.

i may just build the rear portion...cant be too hard.

Im gonna be filling in the hood (the headers wont portrude nor will the airfilters) and route the exhaust through the old molded parts (gonna be making bigger tubes though.

the back part isnt there because it was unneeded weight the headers are threw the hood for looks i guess.

Yeah, this kit is great for kit bashing. But, yes, this is based on an old blazer kit, so the mold dates back to 1978. The chassis is also interchangable with every revell 70-80's Full size GM. So the mad mudder frame and chassis will fit on revells Chevy Silverado Flairside, or there 1979 GMC Jimmy..
