hate to ask this sort of question but does anyone know if this kit is curbside?
http://www.eyeglassnet.com/car/24040.jpg

if it is, does anyone make a 'full' version of the cr-x (any one of this version)?

thanks.

Curbside...
the Mugen version is as well.
Good chassis detail though, and the ITR power unit can be made to fit.
:p

We've been waiting two years now for Revell's full-detail CRX tuner that's being developed in the same series as their ITR/Civic/Focus kits. Someday it will be on the market. Someday. :screwy: :banghead:

Yup! That would be a great day! Thats the main reason why I still haven't bought the Fujimi CRX. If only they did an RSX as well with full engine detail:)

Revell has a full-detail RSX already...it's new, it's a diecast-bodied kit like the original F&F Eclipse and Civic. They'v also got a new full-detail diecast bodied WRX sedan. I haven't seen either one yet, but they are out. And later this year there will be an all-plastic full-detail RSX kit as well. Revell's diecast-bodied kits are pretty good, their just like plastic kits but have thin metal bodies. Revell gets a bad rap around here w/all the Tamaoshimi snobbery that's set in on A/F :evillol: .

Yeah, but is this full detail CRX going to have the original non-vtec, single overhead cam multipoint fuel injected motor, or just another B series "swapped" in like the 99 Si, the DX hatch, and the 92 coupe? And are we going to be forced into using a body kit? Are the stock steelies even going to be included, and not be 18"?

I'll agree that Revell is well capable of making good kits, and makes some good ones. But their lack of attention to detail is extremely frustrating.

I don't know what Revell's planning for the CRX other than what they've said...full detail plastic kit in the tuner series. I assume it'll be more tuner than stock, like the DX hatch, Eclipse, and '92 Coupe. I don't even know for sure if it's a 1st or 2nd generation CRX.

I saw the new WRX last weekend, I wish I could get one but I had no $$$ on me when I saw, it looks VERY good, basically, thrown your Fujimi kit away, it is a STOCK WRX, not an STI, no body kits, and i'm assuming stock engine, no stock wheels tho. but if you want to make it a stocker all you need is the wheels from the Fujimi WRX STI kit, and your in business. I plan on getting one or two as soon as my funds get a little better

I haven't been hobby-shopping lately so I haven't seen one yet, will get one when I can (I'll get extras if/when they're at Hobby Lobby on sale-need an engine/rims for a WRX-ized AMT Brat...). A Revell employee did tell me that one of the sets of rims is patterned after the optional factory WRX BBS rims (the ones that cost 3 grand on the 1:1 car, and therefore extremely rare).
