92 IntegraGS wiilcrank..wont start

the car is cranking but won't start...

It has a micro 8008-99alarm system with a starter immobilizer/kill function ... would this cut power to the starter ???

i put a screwdriver down the plug to see if power is going there and got no spark

it has in the past shut down on startup or not catch fully but this is rear...... any idea's b4 i have to call for a tow ????

the car is cranking( till the bat runs down) but it dosent look like power is going to the plugs

any help/insite is appreciated

well if your alarm had cut power to the starter it would not crank at all. sounds like a distributor prob. and check all the fuses just to make sure. you might want to take off the distributor cap. take a look to see if it is worn badly that could be the prob also. like all the little metal posts that are in the cap and check the button too.

going to check the cap and wires now .. thanks for the heads up on the starter not cranking if the alarm is supposed to kill it...

and the winner is ...the ignition coil..... replaced and all is well in the world again...
