i saw these pro car parts jdm blk h angle eyes on ebay and i had to have them i was trying to go for the all blk look. well when i first got them i was pretty impressed they looked tight. then the problems started. problem # 1 the darn things didnt even come with real instructions so i was like how do i install it? it looked to me like i needed to take off the hole bumper and splice some wires and i really didnt have the time or the tools to do it so i paid way too much and had a shop install them 4 me. p #2 after i installed them the angle eyes were not as bright as i thought due to false advertizement. and the right fog light went out after about 2 months. about a month and a half later the main right headlamp whent out so i had to start driving with my brights on.
p #3 i noticed as soon as i got the lights and drove in the darkness that the lights seem to point down giving me horrible frontal vision. side vision was good though i found a website for 2nd gen integras and found a way to adjust the lights. it turns out that it doesnt work for my car it bairly gave me better frontal vision i think about an inch diffrence. p # 4 it turns out that to repalce these blown out lights im going to have to use h4h bulbs which are very hard to find. my ?'s are 1.) is anyone else having these problems with there lights? 2.) is anyone else having such a hard time adjusting there lights and if not can someone explain to me what i might be doing wrong? 3.) Are the life of these bulbs suppose to be this short, and if so were can i find some h4h that will last me longer than a few months and how do i install them? and ? 5.) if im going to have to keep replacing the lights i dont think im going to like them very much do they make 1 piece headlights that use stock replacement bulbs?
p.s.
if ur thinking about getting these lights dont they are not worth the money stick to the regular oem standerd and get sylvia hyper white lights it wont be as flashy lookin during the day time but at least u can use ur lights at night and be able to see the road.

not too sure of the numbers and stuff, but i think the h4h is the same as an h1 right? I think thats what i read. And i had the exact same headlights on my car. I have had one of the bulbs blow out, but just exchanged it for better ones and not a problem until i sold them.
Everyone says you have to take ur bumper off, I actually was able to change them with them on. and the wiring only took 5 mins once i found the wire i needed.
the brightness with always be a problem, to me just looking at the bulb made me suspicious.
the lenses for the fake "projectors" are hard to get alligned straight, you could open up the entire housing and allign it that way.
if its for an eg, just find some H1 bulbs and switch them out... not much brighter then what was sent with them, but it works a lil bit.

i just picked up a set of JDM Black Housed Halo Projector Headlights. I haven't installed them yet but I've talked to a lot of people who have them. They say if you hook your halo rings to a toggle switch, then do that to keep the life longer on them. Only use your rings when your not on the highway or whatever. A couple people I've talked to have had there lights for almost 2 years and haven't had any problems. How much did you pay for yours? I paid $200 for mine. So when you halo ring came out does that mean you just need to change the bulb or has it melted the wires causing it to short? Hope I have good luck with my halos.

I've never heard of those lights being bright enough for anyone. I've also heard of a lot of people having problems adjusting them correctly. Both these problems seem to be a usual kind of thing.
If you decide to get rid of them and still want the black in there, you can get ones that look just like the OE only they have the black housing. You can find them pretty cheap if you look around. But if you get an inexpensive pari I'd recommend sealing up the seams so it doesn't leak water (cheap headlights and taillights are known to do that).
BTW - They're not JDM, the JDM lights were the same as your stock ones only they are made of plastic and have city lights. It's just a JDM style, because people consider black housing lights to be jdm for some reason.

when all else fails check ebay.
the h1 bulb is your new headlight bulb, it is within the projector housing as well as your high beams.

i had 2 set of "projector lights" so far.. my first set was the denji black housing halo lights and they sucked.... the halos blew in about a month, and you couldnt alighn them correctly... my second set i just got and they are the DOT approved 1pc blk projectors, and i already like them 100x better, the lights seem to be brighter, alighing them was easy, etc etc...

I have no idea what car you have, or what kind of headlights you have. If you got it off Ebay, then you should have done more research on the product... asside from the info (usually wrong) in the listing. First off JDM angle headlights is wrong. There is no such thing.
Which company made the headlights? I've never heard of H4h
The way most of these headlights work is that the driver side has the main wire harness with alot of different relays. Then, instead of the passenger side connecting nomally to it's own harness, the wires are ran all the way across the front and connected to the driver side. The problem with the that, is that sometimes the relays have bad connections, causing the passenger side headlight to become disconnected and not work.
Another common problem is with the halo design. On some designs, the halo wires run right below the projector housing with in the entire headlight housing. When the inner projector housing heat up, sometimes there will be contact with the halo wires, causing the projector housing to melt through the halo wires and shoring out the halo LEDs. The only way to fix this is to pry open the entire housing and change the LEDs, which is very hard, and only recomended for someone who is experienced with this kind of work.

I also have black housing angel eyes for my civic.... yes the original bulbs went quick and they are a bitch to change.....
however install....no instructions, but easy enough to figure out...2 relays 6 lights per side no problem...
as for pointing the low beams...took a couple minutes.... washers work wonders, especially when they are on the brackets under the housings

Well, I've had Denji CF Housed Angel Eye style Projectors (H3 low beam projector and 9005 high beams) for almost 3 years and never had issues, still work and the halos are fine. I keep them aimed properly (as I explain below) and run PIAA lights, and I can see more than fine. I had 1 pair before those though (not denji), it was black housed angel eyes, right when they were first released years ago, some brand called "performance innovation." These used H1 highs and H3 lows. I had that those for like 2 days. Low beams fired within 12 hours, no kidding. Never did work after that, so I bought the Denji's I have now and never had issues. First off, the Denji's came with 2 wiring harnesses and relays you are supposed to use (one for the drivers and 1 for the passengers side)...but most people didn't use them (at least back then). I had tons of people telling me "don't bother using those." In the end it connects to the battery with a fuse holder using 30 amp fuses on the way. Well, I used them and hooked em up. The frist brand I got long long aog didn't have these at all...don't know how many brands inculde them today and how they work, but mine worked out great 3+ years ago. I ran the Halo's off of the parking lights, spliced right into the parking lights on each side. Also, after the install I aimed the lights using the aming adjustment screws. There are 2 per beam per light housing, 2 for low beam and 2 for hight beam. One adjusts veritcally, the other horizontially. Thye are big ass screws ont he back of the housing...look and you should find them...if not let le know and I'll try and find a picture. Park on level ground 25 feet away from a wall. Look at the light on the wall, find the center and where the lights SHOULD be aimed to...Adjust both the aiming screws as needed to aim the lights, do this for both low beam lights and both high beam light . Many people don't aim correctly, don't use the aiming screws, can't find them, etc so take the time, look, learn and do it right!!
Many People have issues with Sonar Brand lights (Gen3, and other brands as well) "Angel Eyes." Typically the low beams fry quickly, and then forever don't work. I know a lot of Sonar lights use H1 highs and quiet a few use H1 lows as well.
