So I got a crazy head unit today, better then I even wanted to get for my car, but it'll fit right into the S14 when I get it. And I got it for free, so HAHAHAAHA. It was 350$ reduced to 250$ because of a 3-day sale, then my dad gave me 150$ for my old head unit and I had 100$ worth of gift cards from christmas!

I'm ganna try to sell it for 1000$ (CDN), see if there's any suckers, I think that if I paint the big ass orange primer spot on the door, then it could go for that much. And Time, I want a Kouki, but because of my price range, I'm probably ganna end up with a Zenki, which, like I stated in another thread, is almost as sexy as the Kouki (IMO) and for the color, I want a black interior for sure, for the exterior, my choices (from best to worst) are black, white (only for Zenki), dark bluish/green, silver, red, gold. And yes, I want a 5speed, but I'm ganna go talk to shops and see what they say about converting an auto to a 5 speed and if it's not to expenssive then I might get an auto (only if the body is perfect) and get it swapped like the same day. lol Oh, and I'm thinking end of May since that's when I finish school, perfect end of exams gift to myself. And this is all assuming I can get the line of credit from the bank, I'm looking for 10 grand, which I should be able to get seeing as I have 4 grand in assets.

what are assets? im not out on my own yet so im still learning what half of this business type stuff is.

I'm working on it, lol, and I don't wanna knock yours, but the slanted buttons that all Alpine's have are horrible....but it's just my opinion..lol

Actually I was talking to driftking about his headunit.

I have a alpine 9811 headunit I love it but it was expensive like $400 but has all the options you need for a good sounding system.

What options would make it that good, I have 2 preamps + 1 preamp for sub, mosfet, 50wx4 (even though it doent do anything once u use amps) i can change mid low high, i have eq-ex or something like that, it smooths the eq curve, i can choose where to direct the sound (whole car, back seats, front seats or driver seat), i got 6 preset eq curves and i can control 2 sets of subs seperatly, i also have XM radio and i can play mp3, WAVs and WMAs

yea well this is a crazy deal here. My uncle that i work with got a clarion flip screen dvd, cd, everything player for absolutely FREE!!!! i think its 2 grand if you were to go buy it. Touch screen, its fully loaded. I was like god damn. This kid that we work with brought it in and gave it to him. So yes it sounds to good to be true, and yes there had to be some illegal procedure's to get it...im sure of that but we dont ask questions. We nod and smile.
