96 HELP!!! od light flashing, NO POWER

Car starts fine. Idles great. But has no throttle responce at all. The OD light starts to flash within 10 seconds of start. Fluid levels fine. Just no power at all. 0-60 .... 5minutes:) Any help??

If your engine is running fine,and you are seriously taking 5 mins to get to 60mph,then your transmissions valve body is most likely Blown.If this is the case,be prepared for a Hefty Repair Cost $700-1000+ to Rebuild or Replace your Transmission.I know how much it sucks,I have to drop $300 into my tranny this Tuesday,just to stop it from leaking fluid from its front seal.Good Luck!

when u say no throttle responce do u mean that you can t rev it or its just not going and revs fine but as the other guy said it sounds like a tranny prob good luck with it luckly i havnt had any probs with my 92 gm yet

with no accelleration look at the mass air flow sensor.... same symptoms that i had with my 96 p71
