they only have them in japan. they are about $900 to get here.

They are on the new model here in New Zealand and they do look really nice.

I would say you could buy them here if you want me to fine out and get a price ??

$900 for the headlights from japan.

primera man said they have them in new zealand so he's gonna find out the price.. it may be cheaper for us since the exchange rate is probably better than the US/Japan one..

as for the kit.. its probably around $3000

Headlights for a right hand drive car shouldn't be used in a left hand drive car. The pattern will be all wrong.

personally i'm not anal about that, i personally dont care if i dont have that much light point towards the opposite side of the road.. so i really wouldnt care which way they point and its not something that most people would notice anyway

On the contrary, you will have *too* much light pointed towards the opposite side of the road, and it's more noticeable (by other drivers) than you think, esp. considering that Japanese and European lights are (I think) brighter that USDM. think twice...then think again.

and there would be less light on the opposite side of the road...

japan drives on the left side of the road so the passenger side bulb points straight forward while the drivers side points forward and slightly to the oncoming traffic in order to light the whole roadway...


so now in the US, the driver side will point straight and the passenger side will point straight and slightly towards the sidewalks....


either way.. i still dont care, and i'm going to put real xenon bulbs in it so it will bright as hell in every direction... :D

WRONG! There would be morelight on the opposite side of the road. You would be blinding other drivers.

oh god, give me a break... driving by some one with bright lights (not like it would be even near as bright as high beams) for a split second is rude and inconsiderate? how about cat back exhausts and other loud mods that you can hear from blocks away... thats not rude and inconsiderate for people? yet everyone does it.... how about the DET you are going to put in your car to turn it into a smog-mobile, is that not inconsiderate for people, animals, the planet, and generations to come???

First of all, no, not everyone does it. Second of all, "all the other kids are doing it" is no defence. And purposefully running lights that will blind drivers in the next lane is rude and stupid.

Uh, nope. I have to pass smog and pass I will. I'll bet you my DET will be as clean as the average DE. The only thing I am not running is the EGR and if I have to add one to pass smog, I will.

Careful do you know who you're dealing with? Hi George! :) Anyway he kind of has a point, stock headlights kind of point down and away from traffic for obvious reasons. Getting these JDM or NZDM lights will point down and toward traffic. I'm not sure how this will effect your driving but you may get a lot of high beaming from on comming traffic.

BTW installing a properly turned DET will not be a smog machine. It will pass a smog test but won't pass a cali visual inspection.
