In-dash Video

I want to put in an aftermarket video screen in the dash, but I want it to be where the current tape desk is. Mostly because aftermarket stuff is ugly and I want to be able to cover it with the wood flap. When I looked for one they all seem to want to stick way out. Does anyone have anything like this installed? Any ideas how I could fit one in?
