loose steering wheel

Hey a buddy of mine has a D and was concerned that there might be some problems with his power steering. I took a drive to compare with my D. And I found that his steering wheel was loose. Is there any way to tighten the steering wheel?

Hey are you sure it's the steering wheel and not the balljoints. There's a recall on them now so you don't have to pay for it.

I have a 98' Durango that had a loose feeling in the wheel/column, and I found out that it was a worn steering arm. I think it cost $165 from the dealer. Hope it helps.
