Head Automatica Cancels Used Tour and UK Dates

Head Automatica have been forced to cancel their upcoming UK dates with Lostprophets and their US dates with the Used due to Daryl's recurrence of Crohn's disease. Daryl will undergo surgery that will help to greatly reduce the chance of another recurrence, and will need to recuperate for the next month. Daryl is very confident that this surgery will enable him to proceed full force! He'll be back up to speed for their UK shows with The Used in January and throughout the rest of the year.

My brother called me at work with this information last night and I was absolutely crushed. I had just bought tickets last weekend for the Hollywood show that was going to be on February 18. I haven't heard Daryl Palumbo live since I saw Glassjaw back in 2002. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and hopefully he will make a full recovery. I can't imagine the music industry without his dynamic vocals.

that's weird...how can Head Automatica be touring with The Used when i thought the Taste of Chaos tour with The Used (and not Head Automatica) had already started?

or hasn't that started yet? i know the Toronto date is March 4th, got my tickets right here in front of me....

anyways, i'd love to see Head Automatica live. they were supposed to open up for The Used back in October with The Bronx and The Bled, but left the tour before our date.
