After finally choosin these two re10, I'd like to have advice for a amplifer, they are both 175w rms so total 350w rms. They are dvc 4 ohm so I need a 2-channel or 1 channel amp powering about 350w rms at 4 ohm. Right? (I figure the wattage is split in 2) I've found the kicker350.2 but it's like 300$ ! Any ideas of a less expensive amp that could do the job?
thanks

Wouldn't a 9.2 handle those nicely? $215 for it. www.edesignaudio.com/

nine.2s can be found at www.edesignaudio.com .. not adire. and yeah that would prolly work well but its underrated so far as i know.. so even though it says 400wrms @ 4 ohm its prolly more like 450 or maybe even 500. this is a very nice amp (my friend has one) but its still a nice chunk of change.
a profile AP600 would give you about 300 watts and its abotu $100.. but if you really need to max the power to em then they make an AP 1000 that gives 480 rms for like $125-140 but then you would have to be careful with how much power you let your subs have(as you would with the nine.2)

Er... lol. I don't know why I linked adire's site. I was insanely tired at the time.

LOL. yea the profiles would be fine just make sure your CAREFUL with the gains..... the RE series doesn't take much power at all to get full ouput.

while on the subject of ED amps. bumpin, do you have any experence with the NINe.1@4ohm? its rated to 450@13.5v. my voltage sits right around 14.2v except when cranking the truck up. where abouts do you think it will be at wattage wise?
Edit:
How will it handle 15v? im thinking of slapping a 16v altinator in there and putting a manual voltage regulator on it. this way i can charge my battery at 14.4 and run my assesories at 15v. but 15 is getting kinda high for a constant with assesories designed to operate from 12-14.4v.
