synthetic oil

Bought a litre of synthetic oil and through it in my motor with the regular 5w30..should i do this or use just synthetic or just regular??Does this make a difference?

It won't hurt any thing. It will help a bit with cold weather starts but no big advantage with that unless it is all synthetic.
