Ok my left headlights are aimed kinda down, how do I reposition 'em?
And how do I make my small square lights (i think running, they're white not turning signals) to turn on? wiring problem?

if you're talking about the fog lights, theres a switch. you turn the headlights either on or to P, and push the button for your fog lights.. im pretty sure its right under the headlight switch in the 97's.. other than that i dont think there are any other lights...

theres only so many buttons, keep pressing them untill your fog lights turn on..... pretty common sence....

There are no buttons under the lights. Just the knob and the dash-brightness wheel thing.

its really easy as the other guys said.. theres only three things where the light switch is. the nob for the regular lights, the wheel for the interior lights and the switch for the fog lights. if that switch doesnt turn them on you either have a short or yoru bulbs are burnt out.. my fog lights didnt work for a while and i ended up having to change them.. its an easy proccess to change them

and here we go with the massive multiple step photo guided process...
of course, first you must locate your switches.. mine is a 93, so its a little different.. JUST A LITTLE.. dont get confused now.. your button will probably be above where the radio is..
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v713/KaotiKKid5/IMAG0060.jpg
then.. you turn the parking lights on.. the knobs will look kindof like this..
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v713/KaotiKKid5/IMAG0061.jpg
then.. you push the button.. its really not that hard.. just make sure you extend your index finger fully, to avoid injury.. it should look like this.. when its on.. but dont forget.. YOURS IS PROBABLY ABOVE THE RADIO!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v713/KaotiKKid5/IMAG0063.jpg
finally, exit the vehicle to see if the lights came on.. like so.. NOT THAT DIFFICULT....
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v713/KaotiKKid5/IMAG0064.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v713/KaotiKKid5/IMAG0065.jpg
*xeno.. just make sure you dont pick fights with me and the guys on AIM.. the reason why i put my sn on here was for people with concerns or questions.. not for people to start fights and bother the hell out of me..

*sigh* guys with early 4th gens, the interior and taillights changed over in 97, the exterior in 98...
Xeno, you know where that little piece is that says "Camaro" right under the middle vents? There should be a couple sideways switches there, on mine the fog light switch is on the left and SGS (second gear start) is on the right, then the "camaro" to the right of that.
As for repositioning, the entire housing is one unit (no serperate bulb) so you have to reposition that whole thing..

i dont know if anyone answered the first part of your question. how to adjust the headlights. if i can remember right.. when i changed my bulbs there should be a screw that you can tighten or loosen to reposition the angle of your headlights. the fog lights should be the same way

i know.. my v6 is just such a monster of a machine that anyone could easily pay more attention to that than the point i was trying to get across.. i guess i need to add some shiny things in the text or something.. to take the attention away from the car..

If you haven't gotten the answer or figured it out maybe this will help. I have a 95 and I had to readjust my headlights. On the top of each light is a torx screw, a inch or so over is a level. If your car is on level ground you should turn that screw until the bubble in the level is between the red lines at 0. You may have to adjust the lights against a solid wall to get them aligned but the torx screw and the level is the way. Hope it helps.
KaotiKCamaro5........ sweet ride. looks like mine. Is that a cover you have over the fog lamps? if so what is it and where can I get one.

yep.. its a billet grille. i ordered it from a website, not sure which one, as to it was over a year ago. But i do know they have a ton of them on ebay for a lot less than what i paid. Mine is made by Grille Craft, looked the best in my opinion. I have several other pics if you want a better view.

I don't know how to post a photo on the forum. I don't really mess around on it enough to get around very well. I had actually thought about posting a photo of my car but didn't think I would be on the forum that much.

Ok, now you are asking a woman about stock or modified. It has a gas pedal, gear shift, and I can put gas in it....just kidding LOL. It came right off the lot by the dealer and has not had any motor modifications. It's just a V6, 3.4L and obviously owned by a woman. I am in the process of repairs (way over needed) and will be changing the interior with racing seats, dash kit, and maybe (BIG MAYBE) darker carpet and headliner.

in kaotics case..... duct tape id guess...
KaotiKCamaro5
02-05-2005, 01:22 AM
there are these little slots.. and you have to take the bottom splash guard off, drill through the bumper cover and it bolts on. its kindof a pain in the butt.. but worth it..

I like that grille. Probably saves on replacing the fog lamps too. Rock damage then having water trapped looks AWEFUL. By the way.. I posted a question about how to remove the fog lights. I don't know how. Cuda says ya'lls gf's are bouncing boobs around his Camaro. The chick on the right reminds me of "Dude looks like a lady". Cuda is that your photo in there?

on a side note, i remember removing the fog lights when i installed my new pilot fog lights, but i am not quite sure hot they came out.. i did it over 2 years ago, i probably just pulled on them really hard.. lol. but i dont suggest you do that.

thats a little pricey for a grill.. but then again my racing stripes were about the same.. i rather just buy some mesh and cut it to the shape of the opening in the bumper
