Intake questions...

Just wondering if you guys know whether or not the air intake sensor on the airbox really needs to be hooked up or not. I just installed my short ram intake and I have no place for the sensor without drilling. Any ideas? Also, I noticed a little "pod" type thing coming off the duct from the airbox to the throttle-body. Anybody have any idea what that thing is? Just curious.

the sensor is ur iat sensor...dotn worry about it my iat sensor is kinda fucked up and its not even [plugged in...you might run jsut a little rich after awhile but you dont need to really worry cuz allis does is read how hott the air is and its just gunna say the ar is a little hotter than it already is
