where can I get sheet styrene. Also, what is the best putty to use? I have trouble finding a lot of this stuff. thanks

well, I couldnt find anything on where to get styrene sheets on here. The putty question could have been answered in the FAQ but I just threw that in there while I was at it. Thanks anyways.

Hey, I have family in Edmond.
A "decent" hobby shop should have sheet styrene. If they don't have it out (usually on a spinning rack), ask about it.

I know where to go in Wichita, KS or Houston, TX, but not Edmond, OK. Still, the way I find hobby stores is to look up in the yellow pages, and visit every single hobby stores in town. You'll have a better chance finding scratchbuilding materials at rail road model stores, so I suggest hitting those places as a starter.

"For Sale" signs are basically the same stuff but you can only get them in one thickness. 60 cents a sign is pretty darn cheap.

Thanks, I tried the two nearby and nothing. the better hobby shop is across town and I never get over there. I might try looking at the For sale signs at Walmart. Otherwise I may just suck it up and make the drive.
