Just today my A/C won't come on when i place it on the #1, 2, 3, and 4 positions.....but when i put it on #5 it does work. Only on Max not on low ,medlow, etc. Only 5. Why???

And also at night when the headlights come on automatically....they go off when i put the A/C on 1, 2, 3, and 4 not #5....any ideas....it may be an electrical problem....all this started happening today???

What do you all think it might be on these two problems i am having???

could be your resistors assem.the way gm changes the speed of the blower motor is through resistors the only speed that does not run through the resistor assembly is five in which battery voltage is applied to the motor

Id try replacing the blower motor resistor first and see if that helps with the problem of the light's since that is the cheapest way to go.If that dosent work then you will need to replace the ignition harness.

Larry,
Did I send the wrong one? Thought you covered the blower resistor in the thread I sent.
