Lug Nuts (aftermarket ones)

As you know, I have a 93 4WD and yes, it seems common for the Rodeo lug nuts to fail...miserably....Everytime I take off the lugs, it gets harder and harder to screw them back on...By the time Im done rotating the wheels...my arm is Jell-O....I also noticed that the lug threads are starting to crap out...hence the PITA tightening....

My question is, Where do you guys buy your aftermarket lug nuts and what brand do you suggest? BTW, I cant stand using the stupid washers with the lugs...annoying as heck...

On my previous truck around 100k the treads on the studs were starting to pull. So all I did was put a dab of grease on the threads before I started.

try that first.

the problem with the lug nuts is that they are being ovetightned and the very end of them get squished
when you remove it it can be a PIA best thing to do is rethread the lugs and studs apply never seize reinstall and torque to proper specifications and you will never have this problem again

I have a little tip for the flat washers and spring washers:

Place the flat washer on the lug, then squeeze the spring washer together a bit so it will stick on the lug nut. I do this as I am taking them off then they are a breeze to re-install.
