Ive noticed theres alot of Eclipse basing and it couldnt of come at a better time....I was walking to class today and i go up to this mad fine girl who i know kinda and tell her that she left the lights on in her car.....The guy shes walking with then goes "hey your the dude with the Yellow Mustang with racing stripes?"......I notice its this kid that i used to work with who drives a 97-99 Mistubishi Eclipse GS-T..from what i knew he had full exhaust headers/intake and a mean sounding blow-off valve...he claims hes running 230-240HP......WE talk some more and as i walked into class i dared him to take my car on after school..He cracks up laughing and said sure


3 periods go by and i pull out of student parking with an eye out for his car....I travel up the road more and by luck or maybe chance i pull up heind him and waited for an open lane(2-lane road)with not so mild traffic...I got my break and i came up beside him and rowed down my window just in time to hear his BOV hiss......We both floor it and he gains 2-3 car lengths before we hit the stoplight coming outta riverside...We both take the high and where hopefully my 200+ foot/lbs of torque would propel me to victory

I must of been wishful thinking because he kileld me by at least 3-4 car lengths from a 60MPH punch......

You have to watch out for those V6 Mustangs, they can surprise you sometimes. I was once on my bike waiting for the light to turn green, and I noticed a V6 Mustang to my left revving at me. I was like :wtf:. So I waited for the light to turn green and I heard his tires screech, so I started to peddle as fast as I could and I’ll tell you what, I’m lucky I was on my 10 speed, otherwise I think he would have killed me.

of course you can put headers on a 4 banger. just not headers on a turbo.

anyways the guy sounds pretty cool since he only gives his car a power rating of only 230-240hp from those mods. my guess is that hes making more, but hes just being modest.

anyways though, for real guys lets give detroitmuscle a break man. enough already, i really do feel bad for this guy.

and another thing, you with 200+ lb ft of tq will not help you in the top end. it will help you get a jump on him but remember he also has 200+ lb ft of tq. also its the one with the higher hp that wins a race from a roll esp from 60mph and up.
