AEM BYPASS VALVE hp losses?

how much hp does the bypass valve take away? AEM states "minimal losses" anyone have some dyno numbers?

for the protection that it gives, the loss of hp is not even noticible im sure.

most dynos dont take into the consideration CAI. With CAI the faster you go the more air you stuff into the intake, and since on dyno you're standing still, your HP numbers are not 100% accurate.

Heh, thats a very good point. But when you have the bypass valve, would you take in the hot air from your engine bay, making less HP?

no the bypass valve is closed unless your sucking in water so no your still getting cold
