I'm changing out my pilot bushing on my ka24de. Well i can't get the damn thing off. I tried everything hitting it cutting it but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have a special way of taking this stubborn piece off.

You can break down and buy the "Pilot bearing removal tool" or just use some kind of hook contrapition. I used a piece of threaded rod with the end bent into a hook. Then I bent the hook into a configuration that would pull on the top and bottom. That with kano-kroil and a ball-peen hammer eventually did the trick. Its more of a question of when than how. Good luck.

yeah go to autozone. they have a pilot bearing removal tool for rent. its free, all you gotta do is pay for the deposit. they'll refund you the money when you return it.
its basically a slide hammer with 3 expanding jaws at the end.
