Already looking for some fat racing slicks, and I'm thinking about painting the rims black with a chrome lip. Also thinking about a red color scheme and leaving the top half of the car black, and might paint a black strip in the hood and trunk since there are lines for it.

Or I might paint it this color, had extra paint from a valve cover I did

Do you have any special plans for 510.

As in ? Swapping engines, probably not. Want to build a roll cage, and put some slicks on it. What do you guys think about this red ?

Really leaning towards the red though, I have all this extra paint since I am a painted.

Might do the top half black with that red.

I stole most of my cage from other kits instead of building it. It's pretty tough like SupaMan says.

Well I found this link and it does not seem that bad

I am a custome fabricator for real cars, so I think it won't be that bad.

the motor is pretty cool on its own, add some detail to the webbers, and do a straight through exhaust. IMO

Sounds like you have done this model before, if so any pics ? I was thinking about painting each little bolt on the fender flares. Just want to get some more ideas. Also the webbers are pretty cool, I had a similar setup on my Honda.

Chances are, after paint, the bolts won't really be... there... anymore.

i didnt mean it was hard in genral its hard on this kit because the roof is so close to the seats that nobody could posilby fit in with a helmet (if i was real) if you make the cage like a "normal" cage (whatever that is :lol2: )

So can anyone see the second links ? I know there up because they work on another board. And I see what you mean about the roof.
