do spark plugs make a power difference

I just swapped my 305 for a 350 in my 93 k1500. It doesn't seem to me like it has the power it should. I didn't replace the spark plugs that were already in the 350 and they're at least 4 or 5 years old. Will replacing the plugs, wires, cap, and roter make a noticable difference. Also it misfires once and a while.

What kinda plugs did you put in?

If they aren't AC Delco platinum (like what comes factory) then yank 'em. No bull$#*%. I have tried other plugs, nothing compares to the OEM AC Delco platinum tips. Nothing.

Replacing the stuff you mentioned is probably a good start. I dont think there is that much difference in power between a 350 tbi and a 305. The 350 will have more torgue but I don't know how noticeable it will be.

Your probably not going to notice a HUGE power difference but you will definitely want to change all that stuff. It misfires so you know there is something wrong, just change everything and even if you don't notice any more power, you know it won't misfire.

i changed it all and I noticed a little bit of a difference. It doesn't misfire anymore so that's a good thing. The old plugs and wires were really bad anyway.

You may not notice a huge power difference, but with the changes you've made, you should notice an increase in fuel economy.
