Pestige APS-996a

i just got this alarm system, prestige aps-996a, but i havent installed it yet. i got it for 340 including taxes and install. did i pay too high? and is this system any good?

Unless your highly experienced with car electronic systems get a pro to install it. Id shop around for some better prices tho.

wtf you paid 340 including install and you didn't have them install it...

i didnt get it installed on the spot, cuz when i came in it was the last one they had and it was like an hour b4 they closed, so they said they can would do it, but since it had remote start, it would take them longer so they said to bring it back the next day. but i couldnt go so i tole them i would go tomorrow :)

but they ARE gonna install it.

by the way i saw some WAY better prices on the net, like 140 more or less. thats why i asked if i paid too much (but remember i paid including install)

how much are they charging you just to install it? Maybe that's why it costs so much - if it takes em 4 hours to install it @ $50/hour, and they paid $140 for the part, it all adds up.

the price was 340 in total, he didnt specify how much the install would cost, nor did he specify how much it would be to instal /hr. is $50/hr. the avrg charge for instal?
